UC Campus Outdoor Sculpture Walk

Berkeley Path Wanderers: UC Campus Outdoor Sculpture Walk, 10 a.m. A continuation of Alan Kaplan’s art and architecture walks, this moderately-paced tour will focus on the interesting sculpture dotting the UC-Berkeley campus. Berkeley Aquatic Park Clean up Event, Sunday January 18

Join us Sunday, Jan 18th from 11am to 2pm at the historic Berkeley Aquatic Park to help us restore and revive this precious local resource. Bring your family, friends and neighbors for an afternoon of landscaping, cleanup, trail reclamation, habitat restoration and a bit of history. The Aquatic Park is Berkeley’s largest park and was built in 1935 as part of the original WPA project. Join us in renewing our commitment to our community as we embark on a NEW New Deal!

Berkeley Path Wanderers: Monkey Island Park neighborhood walk, Wednesday, January 7, 10 a.m. Tour the Monkey Island Park neighborhood, including Avalon Walk and Oak Knoll and Tanglewood Paths. This will be a fairly easy route with some stairs and some uphill. We will finish on College Ave. at Ici for an ice cream cone.
